Faranani as a key player in skills development is able to offer consulting services to assist organisations to identify their skills development needs, implement learnerships and access discretionary and other grants. Our service is now being extended to offer information on the OFO (Organisational Framework for Occupations) and the QCTO (Quality Council for Trades and Occupations)
Faranani has developed an excellent track record in the design and development of training materials and assisting organisations to become accredited as training providers. Our accreditation services include assisting organisations with the development of their quality management system and learning programmes and providing project management support to assist them in becoming accredited.
Services in skills and materials development
- Skills development audits and skills development solutions
- Partnerships with organisations as their accreditation partner registered with the relevant SETA
- Developing the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Accrediting learning programmes by writing unit standard based courses and aligning them to relevant unit standards and developing learner, assessment and facilitation guides
- Liaison with SETAs in terms of remedial action required to retain accreditation status
- Training the client’s facilitators in the Facilitation Skills course and qualifying them as Assessors and Moderators
- Training the client’s materials developer to write and develop accredited learning materials
- Design and layout of learning manuals for presentation in attractive training packs or files
- Advising the client on setting up the information and learner management system to facilitate assessment, moderation and the issuing of learner results and certificates.
